Shri Guru Navara

Shri Guru Navara, Param Guru of Navara Lineage
Shri Guru Navara, born in 1963, is the founder Guru of the Navara lineage.
At the age of 3, he experienced Jagat Samadhi (high spiritual trance) and attained clairvoyance naturally.
He started a systematic yoga practice at the tender age of 11, under the direct guidance of God, after having a samadhi vision of Param Brahman (God, The Heavenly Father). He also learned advanced Raja Yoga and Hatha Yoga from a yogi and has studied classical yogas. From the beginning he demonstrated an exceptional level of spirituality, self-control and awareness.

At 14 he obtained superior heartbeat control and entered Savikalpa Samadhi. His pulse rate was 28 beats per minute and his breaths were spaced at 7 minutes each clinically! Also he demonstrated extreme proficiency in Hatha Yoga asanas and pranayama, and the ability to influence his vital physiological functions through mental concentration.
At the age of 17 he entered clinical death (cessation of the heart) into meditation in Asmita Savikalpa Samadhi, the highest preceding state to Nirvikalpa Samadhi (Nirvana). His powers of yogic self control, clairvoyance and siddhis were exceptional.

In 1991, at the age of 28, he attained Nirvikalpa Samadhi (the pulseless and breathless divine trance), Enlightenment, also named Nirvana. In the following 6 months, he was in an almost continuous trance, with very rare moments of a relative pause, and he barely ate and spoke. During this time, his body was cycling between periods of extreme radiant heat (because of the rising of uninterrupted Kundalini) and cadaverical freezing (without breath and pulse), being in a pure transcendental awareness state of Nirvana.
Gradually, he started (in 1994) to instruct people on how to really practice yoga. He received the spiritual name Kaivalya (Divine Liberation), being regarded by many gurus as a full incarnation of Kaivalya divine state. He spontaneously performed siddhis and often miracles (through healing incurable diseases, advanced clairvoyance, sudden body invisibility, etc.). These were performed for persons in real need and not for public display because Guru Navara vehemently condemns siddhi exposure for simple public entertainment.
To preserve the essence of correct yoga Guru Navara did not teach for the skeptics but instead only for a few serious disciples. With growing demand from the general public he finally accepted to teach the masses while carefully observing the gradual preparation of his disciples.

He was named "Paramahamsa" ("Divine Liberated Swan") and "Maharishi" ("Great Sage") and was recognized as a truly enlightened Yoga Master by many known gurus: Mahavatar Babaji, Swami Vishnudevananda - the main disciple of Swami Sivananda, Swami Ananda, Swami Satya, among others. He was named and known worldwide as Paramahamsa Kaivalya Maharishi and also as Shini Babaji in the Advaita and Maha Siddha lineages. In Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism he was named Karma Sherab Senge (Prajnasimha - The Lion of Wisdom). At this stage he had attained Full Nirvana or Kaivalya which is the classical ideal of spiritual Liberation.
Guru Navara related the following when describing classical yoga ideal and classical yoga schools: "Yogis believe that Kaivalya (Nirvikalpa, Nirvana) is the final point of spiritual evolution and that man must remain in this state to achieve Liberation. Is this the absolute truth?"

Guru Navara came to give a different answer to this. According to him there are various superior states of God and also the possibility to experience them through very special mystical teachings. During these the spiritual and physiological conditions required for Nirvikalpa are passed over and the consciousness is more elevated and more understandable. The Liberation State related to these higher states is indeed much superior to that of Nirvikalpa and the real Enlightenment and Liberation comes only from them. They dissolve the necessity and apparent benefits of a monastic (swami order) life in yoga practice. The natural life in the universe and society is reinstated in its own rights and a true mystical path can be practiced now.
His own experience in the next years after Nirvikalpa Samadhi came to prove this.

By the help of God he then entered gradually into higher states of consciousness much superior to Kaivalya (Nirvikalpa): Moksha, Mokshina, Mokshatita, Ananta, Acyuta and Paramananta or Navara.
These states are of indescribable height and are much superior to Nirvikalpa Samadhi.
At the age of 35 he entered into Paramananta Samadhi the highest level of Samadhi. He received the spiritual name Navara (one of Divine nature, unlimited, eternally young, the holder and giver of eternal new and immortal Holy Spirit.)
"Even if it seems to be impossible after the attainment of Nirvikalpa Samadhi, higher samadhis may occur by the grace of God. Yes, God is indeed above expectations! God is Absolute!" - Guru Navara

Guru Navara was asked by God and by many gurus (including Mahavatar Babaji) to teach the original and highest yoga for its benefits to humankind. He created the Navara Mystical Path - to teach the correct and highest form of yoga for advanced yogis as well as for beginners. His teachings include the original restored Yoga. The actual Yoga practiced by so many is very often far from the correct and the highest form. It is very difficult to find the authentic and correct teachings on Yoga. What is being taught to so many in these so called "authentic" yoga schools today is an approximation and sometimes a ridiculously incorrect form of yoga with techniques that could prove to be quite harmful for the body. The importance and need of Navara is therefore vital and absolute to those who wish to learn how to attain the highest state of spirituality through mysticism.
